Yellowstone Club, Big Sky, Montana
This private residence in the Yellowstone Club was designed as a mountain ski retreat, balancing raw materials with expansive, light-filled spaces. Discreetly nestled into the slope, the 6,000-square-foot home unfolds gradually from an understated entry to dramatic views of the surrounding alpine landscape. Anchored by a base of board-formed concrete, the structure extends outward in bold cantilevered volumes of steel and glass, creating a strong indoor-outdoor connection. Custom detailing throughout reflects the client's desire for both warmth and precision, resulting in a home that feels grounded and elevated.
Note: Images shown are from a similar project by Olson Kundig and are included here to represent the design language and scale of the project I contributed to. The actual project I worked on was in progress during my time at the firm and not yet photographed.
