MIM Architecture is led by Charlotte Mone, who brings a decade of experience to her architectural and interior design practice. She works across a diverse range of project types, from private residences to luxury hospitality, with projects spanning Seattle, Montana, British Columbia, San Francisco, and South Africa.
Charlotte’s design sensibility was shaped during her four years at Olson Kundig in Seattle, where she developed a language of material honesty, thoughtful detailing, and a strong connection between architecture and the surrounding landscape. Her work is grounded in a love for raw materials, contextual storytelling, and close collaboration with clients.
Born and raised in South Africa, Charlotte holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Cape Town. After six years in Seattle, she relocated to Vermont with her husband—a native Vermonter—and their two young children, drawn by the region’s natural beauty and slower pace of life.
Charlotte is currently working toward architectural licensure in the state of Vermont.
